Homecoming is Here!

Maybe right now you're thinking more about pencil cases, calculators and filler paper than about what you'll wear to Homecoming, but it is right around the corner!

Mestads has started to recieve some fabulous short dresses for Homecoming, and most are under $200! We've got sparkly dresses, one shoulder styles, prints, solids, and everything in between!

Is your school more formal than short dresses? No problem! As always, we have a great selection of long gowns as well.

To Market, To Market!

It must be August, because we're headed to market to select prom dresses for Prom 2011! We'll spend a week in Atlanta reviewing dresses from the Cool Collection (which is exclusive to Mestads), Tiffany Designs, Jovani, Sherri Hill, Mori Lee, and more!

I've got a few favorite styles picked for next spring, but I want to know what YOU want! Tell me your favorite styles and colors so we can stock our store with so many dresses, you might have to pick two!

Fall Hours

To be able to serve you better, Mestads SOUTHDALE location will be reducing our hours for the fall.

Monday - Friday: 12-8

Saturday: 10-8

Sunday: 11-6

If you need an appointment outside of those hours, please call us during regular hours and we'd be happy to assist you!

Homecoming is around the corner!

Surprise! It’s getting to be that time again… School is just around the corner, and sooner than you know it, your first dance of the year will arrive, Homecoming!

For some of you, this will be your very first of many high school dances, for others, this is the beginning of the end. No matter where you are in your high school career, you want to be certain that each gown is fabulous!

We have everything from flirty to sassy, so whatever your look will be this fall, we’ve got it covered!

It seems early to look, but now is the time to shop – don’t miss out on a fabulous deal!!!

Donate Your Gown Post-Prom

What will you do with your gown after prom? Consider donating it to someone in need! The Minneapolis area has several organizations that accept gown, shoe and accessory donations year-round, and they give them to high school girls on a need-basis.

Check with your school counselor, at your place of worship, or with community leaders to see if any place exists in your area. If not, consider starting your own!
